Labor’s Housing Australia Future Fund sees nearly 300 days without a single house built

Sky News host James Macpherson says the “life-changing” Housing Australia Future Fund legislation has had “296 days” where not a single house has been built. “This will be life-changing legislation that will help generations of Australians, that is what Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said way back in September when he announced a $10 billion Housing Australia Future Fund,” he said. “He promised he would, and I quote, create a secure ongoing pipeline of funding for social and affordable rental housing, now that was ten months ago so how is that … going? Well in the 296 days since the pipeline was announced, not a single house, not one, has been built.”
