Beloved, the Christian life is not natural—it is a supernatural life. And the doorway into the supernatural is faith. You cannot live above circumstances, defeat darkness, or manifest the realities of the Kingdom without faith. Faith is not optional for the believer; it is our way of life. 1. Faith Is a Law Faith is a law, and laws always work. Romans 3:27 calls it “the law of faith.” This means that: Faith works for anyone Faith works anytime Faith ignores age, race, background, economy, and circumstance Just as gravity never fails, faith never fails. Faith worked for: Abraham Moses Elijah David Joshua Gideon …and it still works today. Laws that govern faith: Hearing Speaking Seeing (imagination/hope) Action Example: The woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25–34) She heard about Jesus She said to herself She saw herself healed She acted on her faith Jesus said, “Your faith has made you whole.” Grace made the healing available—but faith took it. Grace makes. Faith takes. Without faith, you cannot access what grace has provided. Grace and Faith Work Together It is not grace OR faith. It is grace + faith = victory. Everything God has given us is already deposited in Christ. Faith is the signature that releases what belongs to us.
