What a difference an entire year made for WCW in 1999. What started with "The Fingerpoke of Doom" and an nWo rehash ended with Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara's booking and....an nWo rehash....okay, not much of a difference. What is interesting to observe, among so much contrast between WWF and WCW programming during "The Monday Night Wars" (especially how WWF treated the night after WrestleMania vs. how WCW treated the night after Starrcade), is the quality of sponsors that aired commercials. Hence this "retro" commercial compilation from the "Nitro" after Starrcade 1999. This was the tail-end of the 3-hour era of "WCW Monday Nitro." This commercial block (minus at least one ad break) aired during the encore presentation of "Nitro." I'll assume this was after midnight on December 21, 1999, as evidenced by the voiceover promo for "Nitro" during the end credits of "Ernest Goes to Camp." All materials presented are the properties of their respective companies. Editor's note: some commercials were heavily re-aired during "Monday Nitro", and the repeats have been edited out of this collection.
