I challenged myself to make a Cinderella cosplay for $100 based on an ask I kept receiving on Tumblr to see how it would turn out. In this video I address the different aspects that go into commissions, how costs add up, and also outline how much The Real Cinderella Gown would cost at my commission rate. I hope this video is informative and helpful for you! Skip ahead to 6:32 if you want to skip the challenge and hear more about what would go into a real Cinderella commission. UPDATE: I honestly didn't realize that the mininmum wage in San Francisco was $13 because I haven't worked at minimum wage in six years. I was under the impression that $13 was a decent skilled labor rate in California without thinking too hard about labor laws in my specific area. Minimum wage in my city is $10.50, but I will probably be upping my own skilled labor rate to $17 to account for the rise in minimum wage since I started taking commissions. Please keep in mind that $13/hr is actually really cheap considering where I live and what other people tend to charge. EDIT: The dress has been sold! Thank you for your interest (despite all odds, haha) You can see more examples of my work on my ACP page: http://acparadise.com/loves/jazqui/ Twitter: / jazqui Facebook: / jazquicosplay
