Only weeks before the onset of Covid-19 and its restrictions, we were able to capture one of the last performances of Blues legend Bryan Lee who passed away later in the year (non-Covid). It was a chilly night at the Dunedin Mardis Gras Festival which also featured a fine performance from T Bone Hamilton's Big Easy Revue. Bryan reminisced about his days in New Orleans where he spent many years, and included songs from different times of his long career in this set. Bryan's band Six String Therapy was Bob Menzies on drums, Ted Fordney on bass, and Michael Hensley on keyboards. Bryan was a true bluesman and entertainer who loved the music, the audience, his friends, and especially his wife Bethany who helped throw Mardis Gras beads to the crowd during the show.
