At the end of February 2022, more than a fifth (22) of the world's Top-100 male players were aged 32 or over compared to six a decade ago. The oldest Top-100 player in 2012 was 33. Now, 11 players between 34 and 40 are operating in the Top-100. With players having more time on their side, there is less rush to dive straight into the professional game.
