In today’s video we are looking at a variety of nicknames used to address friends in Wales. Some of them come directly from Welsh words such as the nickname South Wales people give to those from the North. The nickname used for the people of Caernarfon comes from the name of their special Welsh dialect, which no Welsh speaker outside of Caernarfon seems to understand. 😉 Whilst one nickname come from the tales of extraordinary bravery of a special dog from my own home town.
