In the wake of Jeff Beck's death Jan 2023 I discovered that the actual Jeff Beck original version of Rice Pudding was published as the last track on Beck-Ola in 1969. It is beloved by Beck fans. However, I believe it was surpassed by the version heard on this video. The Plastic Tales disc jockey you hear at the end of this video identifies the track as being on Jeff Beck's Armageddon album, but Rice Pudding is not on that album!. The uploader of this videos sound track (which I discovered on Plastic Tales (WNYU.ORG) AND Youtube content ID show as created by Armageddon in Germany in 1970 but I can find nothing to confirm this. There was a short lived Armageddon band from Britain in the mid 70s and a Swedish and fromn the '90 but its not those. Anyway - you are hearing one of the best and least known performances of any form of rock music. It sure sounds like Jeff Beck on guitar, but I can not confirm that it is his own remake of the orignal from 1969. Listen with headphones - great stereo channel separation.
