This is a poor quality video of a gig by Roy Wood’s Helicopters from the early 1980s. Back in the day before the internet, A group of us fans used to swap videos with each other. I have no idea where or who this came from, but I do know it is a copy of a copy of a copy and one of the copies was poor with noise lines on it, It’s even lost the original colour from it, My copy (of a copy of a copy ;-) has been up in the loft for many years which I’m sure hasn’t done it any favours either. Band members are Roy Wood, Jon Camp from Renaissance on bass, Paul Robbins, Mike Deacon from Darts on Keyboards, and the late Kex Gorin on drums. I’m thinking that the video might have been done by students as a project at a college and university as the band did play at a lot a lot of gigs there, It’s only a guess though.
