Roberts video #122. 1st of 2 videos today. First, I bring the boiler up to temperature and test the pressurestat, safety valve & steam assembly. The pressurestat is acting wonky, but that may be due to the safety valve not closing. I'm happy to report the steam assembly link is fixed. So check that one off. Second, I put a Teflon mushroom from another machine into the safety valve and it stopped the leak. But, for safety sake, I'm buying a different spring made specifically for this Gen2 Pro with pressurestat. Also, while trying to adjust the pressurestat, I think I damaged it, as I can't seem to get it regulated. So...I'm buying an adjustable pressurestat. Both from Stefano (links below) with pictures of the two parts. Third, the new adjustable pressurestat and new safety value spring/mushroom have arrived.
