Groaning, I roll out of bed, the cold morning air nipping at my skin. It's 8 AM, and the day at NIT H has begun. we usually wake at 8 but its there is no wake up timing during holidays ,which has been shown in the video😁. we quickly get ready, throwing on whatever clothes are clean and rushing to the mess hall for breakfast. The aroma of overcooked idlis and watery sambar fills the air. I manage to choke down a few bites, my mind already drifting to the lectures ahead. The first class is a mind-numbing ordeal. The professor drones on, his voice a monotonous hum. I try to focus, but my eyelids grow heavy. A quick glance around the room reveals that I'm not alone. Half the class is lost in their own little worlds, some scribbling notes, others simply staring blankly into space. After a series of such soul-sucking lectures, it's time for the lab. The lab, a haven for the technically inclined, is where the real learning happens. We tinker with circuits, analyze data, and debate theories. The camaraderie among fellow students is palpable, and the shared passion for engineering fuels our late nights and early mornings. Afternoon: The Sacred Ritual of Mess Food By the time the lunch bell rings, I'm famished. The mess hall is a chaotic frenzy of hungry students. The food, as always, is a mixed bag. Some days, it's edible, other days, it's a culinary disaster. I've learned to approach the mess with a healthy dose of skepticism and a hearty appetite. After lunch, it's back to the hostel. A quick nap, a game of FIFA, or a casual chat with friends fills the afternoon. The hostel, a microcosm of the college, is where friendships are forged, memories are made, and countless pranks are pulled. Evening: The Sacred Ritual of Sports and Fests As the sun begins to set, the campus comes alive. The sports grounds are buzzing with activity. Cricket, football, basketball, you name it, we play it. It's a great way to unwind and de-stress after a long day of lectures and labs. But the real highlight of the evening is the cultural scene. NIT H is a hotbed of creativity, and the fests are a testament to that. From music and dance to tech and literary events, there's something for everyone. The stage is set ablaze with performances, the air filled with the energy of youth. Night: The Sacred Ritual of GPL and Late-Night Studies As the night deepens, the hostel rooms transform into study hubs. The soft glow of laptops illuminates the faces of determined students. We burn the midnight oil, fueled by caffeine and adrenaline. But it's not all work and no play. The hostel is also a place for fun and camaraderie. We celebrate birthdays with gusto, a tradition known as GPL (you know the full form,dont you😁). The birthday boy or girl is subjected to a barrage of pranks, water fights, and, of course, the infamous GPL itself. The NITian Experience: A Rollercoaster of Emotions A day in the life of a NITian is a rollercoaster of emotions. There are moments of pure joy, moments of frustration, and moments of sheer exhaustion. But through it all, there's an underlying sense of camaraderie and belonging.
