Alexandra, Frontsängerin einer Punkrock-Band, hat dank eines Bühnen-Unfalls einen Gipsfuß und geht an Krücken. Sie ist mit ihrer Freundin und Managerin Sophie zu verschiedenen Terminen unterwegs. Auf der Suche nach einem neuen Proberaum landen die beiden bei einem schrulligen Piano-Duo und begehen kurz darauf einen spontanen Diebstahl, indem sie den Bus einer "verfeindeten" Band entführen. Bei einem improvisierten Fotoshooting sorgen ein (ebenfalls gestohlenes) Kleid, eine Klobürste und Alex' crazy Ausstrahlung für einzigartige Motive. Am Abend erholt sich Alex in ihrer Punkerbude von den Strapazen des aufregenden Tages. Plötzlich steht Sophie vor der Tür – sie hat nun ebenfalls einen Gipsfuß! Nachdem beide diesen Schock verdaut haben, kümmert sich Alex um die Verschönerung von Sophies Gips und zettelt ein Krücken-Wettrennen an...
