I am a Norwegian language teacher working online. In this video, I describe how to use the verbs that I most often correct for my students. They can be hard to memorize because of how irregular they are, the subtle difference between past tense with the verb "Å SETTE" and how the verb "Å LEGGE" takes on just the "LA" for past tense. The verb conjugations: Å legge, legger, la, har lagt - to lay something down (The action) Å ligge, ligger, lå, har ligget - to be laying down ( it is not moving) Å sette, setter, satte, har satt - to put (focus on the action of putting) Å sitte, sitter, satt, har sittet - to sit ( function of not moving) I hope this video is helpful to you and makes you understand better how to use the verbs.
