BEGINNING in 2025 California residents will NOT be able to buy new Class A Diesel and Super C Diesel motorhomes that can be registered in California! Watch this video where we explore the new regulations and impact on California residents. As of the making of this video, new California CARB Compliant diesel motorhome chassis are EXTREMELY LIMITED and ALMOST GONE! Some Info on California's NEW Advanced Clean Truck Regulation: California’s ACT Clean Truck Regulation takes effect in January 2025 and requires chassis manufacturers to electrify new vehicles with a GVWR greater than 8,500lbs according to a defined schedule and provides for a credit system for zero emission vehicles (ZEVs) produced in other categories. Large Class A and Super C chassis manufacturers are generally subject to a requirement that 11% of their new vehicles be electric in 2025, which they will be UNABLE to meet. We attended the CARB approval hearing to advocate for the motorhome industry to have an exemption or postponement on these regulations and were unsuccessful. We ask that you please help us and contact your representatives and try to push for an exemption for the RV industry. As of now the future of NEW Diesel Class A and Super C motorhomes for California residents is very dire. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
