They analyzed over 1,200 patients in the EUMelaReg, focusing on the duration of immunotherapy in patients who achieved either partial or complete remission. Their study reveals that patients with partial remission benefit from extended treatment beyond 12 months, improving progression-free and overall survival. However, for patients with complete remission, shorter treatments (under 6 months) may be sufficient. Further research is needed to evaluate specific subgroups.
