After a long journey across oceans and continents, Myra, a fragile baby leopard shark is born in a nursery in Raja Ampat, Indonesia. Myra will have only seven months here to grow strong before she is released into the open ocean. In a short period of time, Myra will have to become independent, learning the ways of the wild. Luckily for Myra though, people around the world are uniting to support her. In Hong Kong, scientists at the Ocean Park aquarium conduct research into leopard shark breeding. In a bustling metropolitan city in Indonesia, an investigative journalist is investigating the shark trading business. In Jakarta, Nesha works out a plan to convince the government to make leopard sharks a protected species. The journey for everyone involved will be challenging but especially for little Myra: she will need to learn to hunt her own food, eat live snails and ward off competition. It is a fragile stage and not all sharks pass the test.
