MARDEK is a retro-inspired RPG set in a lore-heavy world that blends together fantasy and sci-fi. Its initially lighthearted story soon evolves into a deeper exploration of moral ambiguity, told through a whole lot of dialogue both thought-provoking and ridiculously silly. I am playing the Nineveh Mod, a fan-made mod that retools the game, adding new skills and equipment, tweaking enemies and generally sprucing up a lot of graphical elements. His skillset seems to be much the same as the base game, including Arcane Cataclysm, but it's easy to force him into a loop where he just keeps summoning Zombies who don't do much. The lack of Haste really does him in here. It's good to bring a Degeneration Deugan, as he can get rid of Moric's continuous healing while also shattering his Shield. He can also set up Anima Shell to make the zombies waste away to keep Moric using Animate Dead. Emela just goes for AoE DPS, I went with Air here since it hits Moric so hard. Mardek was pure support for this fight, a role he does well. Vehrn works for this fight, but Zach probably does more damage due to Moric's Air weakness. Soak reactions do a lot to minimize the damage taken here.
