Parkersburg Brewing Company is home to the 2018 World Beer Cup for its American-Style Brown Ale, the Cell Block 304. Malty, caramelly, and nutty, this beer beat out 77 other entries across the globe. The 2018 World Beer Cup is the first international gold medal ever received in the state of West Virginia. “We joke all the time: we’re just making beer and drinking beer.
