61306 Mayflower | The Royal Windsor Steam Express (Week 1) - 04.06.19

Steam Dreams brand new weekly railtour, 'The Royal Windsor Steam Express' has begun, with the first 3 shuttles from London Waterloo to Windsor, hauled by Thompson B1 61306 Mayflower. Along with this, there was to be an evening dining train titled 'The Sunset Steam Express' (footage of this can be seen here:    • 61306 Mayflower | The Sunset Steam Express...  ) Shuttle 1 is seen passing through Vauxhall, vice my original plan of filming the departure at Waterloo due to the platform being closed off, before then seen accelerating away through Feltham. The return ECS was then captured at Queenstown Road (Battersea). All I will say is, I have no words for what happened in the clip. Shuttle 2 is seen at Barnes Bridge with the B1 making a fine effort to haul its 10 coach train, following on with shuttle 3 which is seen at Wandsworth Town, minutes before the promised rain finally arrived.
