Landruk - Dhampus - Pokhara || Annapurna Base Camp Trek || Day 11 & 12

Day 11 of my 15-day tour and trek to Annapurna Base camp - 26 March 2019. Today is the eighth day of trekking and today I walk from Landruk to Dhampus. The walk today is along a dirt road and so it's a welcome break from all the stairs and stone. It feels quite soft underfoot and it gives my body a chance to recover. Just before the group arrives in Pothana for lunch, it starts to rain really heavily. The temperature drops significantly also. We wait out the rain by eating and having a rest. Once the rain clears, the group heads off for the last section of the day which is to Dhampus. __________________________________ Day 12 of my 15-day tour and trek to Annapurna Base Camp - 27 March 2019. Today is the ninth day of trekking and while it's not a particularly long day, it will prove to be very taxing on my body. The trek goes from Dhampus to Phedi. My knees and ankles are already sore and today will mostly be going down stone stairs. While I am so sad that today is the last day in the mountains, my legs could really do with a recovery day or 10. After reaching Phedi, the tour company is waiting with a van to shuttle the group back to Pokhara. I am feeling elated and sad. I am loving being in the mountains.
