Formally classified as a maxi scooter, the SYM TTLBT truly equates to a motorcycle in terms of engine size, performance, and intended use. A 500cc engine with a rock-solid structure, a tunnel so high it could be compared to a motorcycle's fuel tank, and super tourer-level equipment. Its attractive, modern design is also distinctive, with large, flowing surfaces and geometric panels that convey solidity. Two panniers are integrated into the tailgate. A very strong identity for a vehicle designed for long journeys, with a fairly upright riding position, a seat just 780 mm from the ground, and a three-position adjustable backrest . There are heated grips adjustable to four levels, an electrically adjustable windshield and enough transport space to move house: a 37-litre under-seat compartment, to which are added 14.4 + 13.6 litres of side bags and a rear rack to which you can attach a large top case. The technical features are certainly not those of a scooter: the ride-by-wire accelerator allows the activation of cruise control at speeds above 50 km/h and the availability of three riding modes (“Normal with traction control”, “Normal without traction control” and “Rain” which reduces power). There is also a 7” TFT touchscreen display , the next-generation smart key, cornering lights that activate based on the lean angle, the Bosch MSC 9.3 system which integrates cornering ABS and traction control, managed by an IMU and an ECU. The chassis is also sized like a motorcycle, centered around a sturdy frame capable of withstanding the stresses of a powerful engine. The fork is upside-down, and the rear suspension is controlled by a single shock absorber on the left side. There are two brake discs at the front and one at the rear, with dual-channel ABS, the wheels are 15", almost motorcycle-sized, with wide 120/70 and 160/60 tires. The SYM TTLBT has a wheelbase of 1543 mm and is 2235 mm long, 890 mm wide and ranging from 1366 to 1492 mm high depending on the windshield adjustment. The seat is 780 mm from the ground.
