rand - Peripherie live at OSD - 03 Permanent Green

...looking out of the window during a long train journey through the Rhine Valley in spring, the fresh green of the trees flying by blends with the raindrops on the window... Permanent Green is based on a piano piece by Jan Gerdes from 2011: above a continuously pulsating tone in the background, a strange-sounding Phrygian scale unfolds until it culminates in a hymn-like chorale. ______________________________________________ Over a period of 12 weeks, we will release all 12 tracks that we performed at the concert. The video premieres will take place every Friday at 12 pm CET/GMT+1, starting on 6 February and ending on 10 April. An audio release featuring selected tracks from the performance will be made available on 17 April at www.rand.bandcamp.com
