Ningaloo Reef - Exmouth, Cape Range NP and Warroora

Pretty hard to say where the best spot is around Aus but this section was definitely a highlight! We hightailed from Broome to Exmouth and Mick was in the surf before I'd gotten out of the car. Frothing is an understatement. We found ourselves an epic spot at 1km in Cape Range and dropped the tinny in the water, then spent 2 weeks surfing and fishing and snorkeling. We saw reef sharks, turtles, humpbacks even some Orca followed the tinny one arvo and scared the shit out of us! Jaz learnt how to really go left, and humpbacks breached 200m away. Mick scored the lighthouse bombie, and we made a bunch of mates and drank beers watching sunsets with bellies full of yellowfin tuna, spangled emperor, squid and trevally. The Mick hurt his knee, the wind started howling and it was time to keep moving.
