August 2016 97 key Van Steenput - Verbeeck Concert Organ de Grote Steenput (de Windmolen) plays 'Morning, Noon & Night - Von Suppé'. The organ was built in 1928 by the Van Steenput Brothers in Puurs, Belgium. The organ spent most of its time in The Netherlands, presented by Mr. Wind. During its life in The Netherlands the organ was called 'de Windmolen' (the Windmill). In 1993 the organ was restored by the famous Firm of Johnny Verbeeck, St-Job-in't-Goor, Belgium and purchased by collectors Jim and Sherrie Krughoff, Downers Grove, IL, USA. They proudly present the organ in an outstanding collection of many other mechanical musical instruments. Special thanks to Jim and Sherrie Krughoff for their hospitality.
