Browsing DickBlick.com recently I came across a product that I just HAD to try–the Finetec Premium watercolor paint made with REAL silver! I was so excited and curious to see what that would look like, so we bought a small set to try (they’re very expensive.) These premium watercolor paints also came with additional gold and silver colors. Only one of the pans contains metallic silver; however, all colors in their line contain super high quality pigments and fewer fillers. So I was excited to give them a try as well. And for purchasing this watercolor paint, Blick even sent me a free gift of the Finetec Premium “Twilight” color, which is considered a “flip-flop” paint that changes color in the light (from blue to violet in this case.) So let’s see if this real metallic silver paint is really worth 4 to 5 times the cost of something like the Paul Rubens Glitter Metallic or the Kuretake Gansi Tambi watercolors!
