http://www.sneakerwatch.com/ -We see the craze and long lines that now come with many sneaker releases. Of those waiting in line, how many do you think are actually wearing the shoes they've purchased? Staple Pigeon founder and sneakerhead veteran Jeff Staple estimates that about 75 percent of those waiting in line with the intent to resell. Like a few other of our SW guests, Staple initially assumed that the resell game would dwindle down. In this recent exclusive, he expresses concern that the resell market may not diminish as quickly as he thought. "Every year I think the bubble's gotta burst, but I don't see it dying out," says Staple. For those resellers looking to make a quick buck, at this rate you might want to plan on keeping some of those shoes you cop to sell because of the marginal difference of buyers and sellers. Staple believes more than the actual wearers of sneakers, the people copping sneakers are buying to resell only. Moving forward the designer says that resellers may even get to a point where they just sell their shoes at lower rates after sitting on their shoes over time.
