Tracing the Footsteps of Netaji in Germany | Vlog 2: Königsbrück | Bose & Free India Legion

🇮🇳 In my last vlog, we explored Annaburg, where Indian soldiers of the Legion were first recruited under the leadership of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. But recruitment was just the beginning of their journey. Once enlisted, many of these soldiers were sent to Königsbrück, Saxony, where they received their training with the larger motive of building an army strong enough to free India from British occupation. In this vlog, I visit Königsbrück to trace this next chapter in the Indian Legion’s story. Walking through this historic town, I uncover how it became a pivotal site in shaping the experiences of Indian soldiers in Germany during the 1940s, carrying forward the vision and struggle of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and the Azad Hind Fauj in Europe.
