Hi, I am Leila! Welcome to a special winter cooking video with my lovely mother, Ajav. Today, surrounded by the beautiful snow, we prepared a delicious Luri and Persian meal: "Fried Fish with Barberry Rice" (Mahi Sorkh-Karde & Zereshk Polo). The Secret Snow Marinade: To make the fish tender and flavorful, we used a unique winter technique. We marinated the fish with Onion Juice, Fresh Lemon Juice, Saffron, and Black Pepper. Then, we buried the bowl under the cold snow for 1 hour! The freezing temperature helps the flavors absorb perfectly. The Frying Process: After marinating, we coated the fish fillets in a mix of Flour and Turmeric to give them a golden, crispy crust. We fried them in oil until crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We served this amazing fish with fluffy Persian Rice garnished with sautéed Barberries (Zereshk). Sharing this meal with my mom in the winter cold was a heartwarming experience. Hope you enjoy watching it!
