Double Fried GARPAR Wings/Garlic Parmesan fried Korean style cooking with neighbors Jerri-ellen

Hi Everyone, In this video my son and I worked together in the kitchen making juicy yet crispy wings. We coated them in Garpar sauce and drizzled with siracha. The batter for the wings made them extra crispy and locked in the juiciness of the chicken. It is a Korean style frying method. Also here is link to pizza video    • Видео   Ingredients for the batter this batter is good for 2 pounds of wings about 1 kilogram 1/2 cup of all purpose flour 1/2 cup of corn starch or potato starch 2 tsp of baking powder 1 tsp of salt coat wings in flour mixture fry in small batches for about 8 minutes ( oil is 350 degree F) take out and let cool for few minutes and then you can put them back in cooking oil for another 6-8 minutes the second fry you can put in larger batches stirring in oil occasionally The garpar sauce was found by much research and slight changes to get it the way we wanted there are so many versions but we really wanted one that was restaurant quality in out opinion 6 cloves of garlic pealed and roasted in 325 degree F oven in a table spoon of olive oil for about 25 minutes until soft when garlic is don mash it with back of spoon now add garlic and the list below together in a bowl and mix well so your 6 cloves of roasted garlic 1/2 cup of mayonnaise 1 teaspoon of sugar 2 table spoons of parmesan cheese (grated) 1 table spoon of apple cider vinegar 1 and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon of seasalt 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes 1/4 teaspoon of dried basil 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano 1/8 teaspoon of dried thyme freshly ground pepper just a wee bit Hope you try and enjoy Jerri #cookingwithneighbors #cookingwithneighbors #comfortfood
