NATIONAL SPORTS DAY 29th August 2022 Happy National Sports Day to all Indians. We celebrate this day EVERYDAY at TKSA! Because sports is part of life, hand in glove with academics & art & music, same campus, same values, huge growth potential, learning lessons I may not always learn in a classroom. Discipline. Hard work. Thinking. Planning. Strategy. Team. Winning & losing. Staying cool. Never quitting. We had some special events over the entire month showcasing various sports; exposing students to new sports or learning a sport that enhances the one you are already good at. “Sports were a big part of my life, and it truly shaped me and the values and morals I have from that, its a good tribute to what I took away from [high] school sports”. Brad Duke The five S's of sports training are: stamina, speed, strength, skill, and spirit; but the greatest of these is spirit. Play with hope in your heart and dreams in your head. We had an array of sports spread across the school facilities over a month to allow sports to soak into the fibre & ligament! It’s in our culture at TKSA. Here’s to sports! Here’s to sportsmanship!
