We celebrated my mom’s birthday in beautiful Monterey & Carmel, CA, and it was the perfect mix of food, fun, and relaxation! 🐠💙 Our day started with a delicious breakfast at Schooners Monterey, where the fresh food and breathtaking views of Monterey Bay set the tone for the day. Then, we explored the Monterey Bay Aquarium, a must-do when visiting! From mesmerizing marine life straight from the bay to outdoor ocean-view decks, there’s something for everyone here. Next, we strolled down Cannery Row, full of shops, restaurants, and charming coastal vibes, before heading to Carmel for dinner at Pacific’s Edge Restaurant. Ocean views + a lobster roll packed with lobster = perfection! 🦞 To wrap up the day, we visited Refuge, a serene thermal-cycle spa with saunas, steam rooms, cold plunges, and warming pools surrounded by nature. No electronics, just peace and quiet.
