Making Survival Bread: Pan-Fried Bannock After recently visiting a grocery store that was completely sold out of bread, bagels, and buns I decided I better teach some of you how to make a basic bread, otherwise known as bannock. This is great for camping as you can cook it on a stick or over a fire but it also works on your kitchen stove. Quick, and easy bread to keep you fed during the COVID-19 isolation period. Basic Mix 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/8 teaspoon of salt. Mix with water until you have a ball of dough. Once you have this basic mix you can use your own creativity to make various recipes. In addition to the herb and cheese, I've also added spicy salami at times which is delicious. In addition to the brown sugar and raises a little rum also hits the spot. Use your own creativity and have fun trying new combinations. For more camp cooking check out my wifes channel @TheTimberLife
