This was harder than I thought...

In this video, we’re diving into the messy but necessary job of drilling out spot welds to get the quarter panels off my Nissan 350Z. Using a donated 350Z shell for replacement panels, we tackled both sides — about 5-6 hours each — grinding down paint and primer to bare metal, punching the welds, drilling pilot holes, and finally using the spot weld drill bit to free the panels. Huge thanks to Prizzamike for the guidance — he’s done this before and made the process a whole lot smoother. After removing the quarter panels, I’m relieved to finally get rid of the bad body shop work and give this Z a proper fresh start.
