"The Price of Everything and the Value of Nothing is the 6th track in the AAL Drum Cover Series... it's also one of the longest track names I've ever seen! What is the Animals as Leaders Drum Cover Series? It's an attempt to play every AAL track in chronological order on the drums - in one take. It's mainly an exercise for me to develop my drumming again after barely playing for the last 2 years. After learning the tracks I want to play them as more of a live performance and have fun with it, rather than worry about trying to get everything perfect and using multiple takes like I used to, which means there will be some mistakes/mistiming's, but I'm just rolling with it, perfection is overrated anyway. It will be interesting to see if I can complete the series or crack my brain into the abyss of odd time signatures and get admitted to an insane asylum. I think the latter is more likely...
