Kempo is a martial art that’s been practiced in Japan for hundreds of years. In the Budo Ryu Kai, 1 of the 7 warrior traditions that is taught is called: “Koka Ryu Kempo”, which translates out to: “Koka School of Fist Law”. . Koka-ryu Kempo teaches you how to fight as well as learning many self defense techniques. One of the secret self defense techniques that’s taught is called: “Nukite”. . Nukite translates out as “spear hand” and refers to using the finger tips as a spear striking the soft tissue of the opponent to neutralize their advance for self defense. In this video I demonstrate the kata called Nukite, and explain how to use nukite for self defense. .
