Gnosticism is one of the oldest heresies in church history, and it never really went away. Gnosticism is part of what gives New Thought its roots. Whether it's Word of Faith, LGBTQ ideology, or TikTok theology, it's still in our faces. In this interview, I asked my friend and scholar, Dr. Doug Groothius, to explain what gnosticism is, how Scripture warned against it, and how it shows up in today’s culture, spirituality, and even Christianity itself.
