Our first day exploring Jerusalem - al-Quds, القدس

This was our first full day exploring the beautiful, holy city of Jerusalem (al-Quds). This isn't our best video unfortunately - the sound and quality isn't great and for some reason the sound of 1 clip got deleted after rendering our video (we tried 3 times without any luck). So our apologies for that. But hopefully you enjoy watching it anyway :) Also important to mention is that I (Swaen) am not wearing a hijab while walking around al-Aqsa compound. Initially I was wearing one, but after I saw that most tourists weren't wearing one I put it off. I also was doubting putting it on since I wasn't inside a mosque. When I go inside I always put one on since I know that is important and respectful to do. But yeah, afterwards I felt a bit bad about not wearing one in al-Aqsa compound. I want to be respectful, so hopefully I didn't offend anyone. Next time I'll definitely keep a hijab on! The name of the hotel we stayed at while in Jerusalem was called Jerusalem Panorama Hotel. It is Palestinian owned - important (for us) since we want to support Palestinians because of their unfair and hard living situation under occupation. Thank you so much for watching!
