Scuba Dive At Tiger Rock (DJs Dives)

This week we get to anchor out on SV Curiosity and go deep into the lazarette to pull out all of our dive gear. With the scuba tanks freshly filled by the Oceanus air compressor, we are ready to head into the water and explore Tiger Rock. This dive site is a pit stop while sailing from the Zapatilla Islands to Isla Escudo de Veraguas. Since we are anchored out in rather deep waters, we decide to go diving in groups of two, so that someone will always be on the boat if the anchor starts to drag or the weather picks up. Safety is always the number one priority when you're out on the ocean and diving into the depths. Once we find the dive site, the views are magnificent. The corals are healthy and full of life, and the fish let us get up pretty close to capture them on video. We see some locals free diving to the depths that we are scuba diving, and they are spearing some fish right next to us. Once we are done diving, we pick up the anchor and continue on our sail.
