Thousands rally in Tehran on Quds Day despite US-Israeli attacks

Thousands of Iranians gathered on Friday for a mass protest in support of Palestinians, undeterred by the backdrop of US-Israeli air strikes in Tehran. Iran’s top officials, including President Masoud Pezeshkian, security chief Ali Larijani, and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, were present among the demonstrators. After news of the official presence broke, multiple explosions believed to be caused by US-Israeli air strikes were heard around the rally, with Iran’s Press TV reporting that one woman had been killed.
