Listen To Bisan Owda's Acceptance Speech At The Peabody Awards

A visibly emotional Mo Amer announces that Bisan Owda has won a Peabody Award for her work with AJ+. ⁣ ⁣ The Palestinian American comedian, who was honored the previous year for creating the sitcom “Mo,” was speaking at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles. ⁣ ⁣ Bisan accepted one of the highest honors in broadcasting by video from a refugee camp in occupied Gaza.
