*****30-Day Meditation to Quit Maladaptive Daydreaming:*** I know from the responses to the maladaptive daydreaming videos on The Healthy Writer that many of you out there are struggling with this condition. Many of you have asked what kind of meditations might be helpful, so I decided to create this 30-day daily meditation to help you stop maladaptive daydreaming. Here’s the disclaimer: While I hope this video helps to cure you of excessive daydreaming, I can’t guarantee any results. Unwanted habits can come back and not every method will help everyone. What I do hope is that this meditation helps you find grounding in the joy of the present, practice self-acceptance and self-kindness and care, and feel more confident to live in the real world with other humans—all of which I think can help ease maladaptive daydreaming. Because maladaptive daydreaming tends to be a dissociative habit, grounding yourself with meditations, yoga, and other somatic exercises can help. It’s okay if you’re not perfect in this 30-Day Meditation challenge. Whenever you need it, it's here. Be kind to yourself. Allow yourself to try your best. Believe you can move beyond your daydreams to beautify your life with your creative blessings and unique imagination. Meditation has many long term health benefits especially when practiced daily. As you dedicate yourself to this 30-Day practice, pay attention to how you feel before and after. Consider rating how good you feel on a scale of 1-10 before and after you do this meditation to see if you experience positive changes. As always, please like, subscribe, and hit that bell for notifications! **Disclaimer!** Hi! Here is where I say I am not a medical profession by any means.
