10 Days of INGENIUM at the University of Oviedo – Winter Senior School 2025

Twice a year, the INGENIUM European University organises its flagship event, the 10 Days of INGENIUM—an immersive short-term mobility programme where students and staff from all partner universities come together to collaborate, exchange ideas, and share best practices. The 10 Days are structured into two components: the Junior School, designed for undergraduate students, and the Senior School, tailored for Master’s and PhD students. The fourth edition of the INGENIUM Senior School was held at the El Milán Campus of the University of Oviedo (Spain) from 17–21 February 2025. Its focus was on on the increasing importance of scientific outreach and communication. For a week, participants explored the essential concepts of scientific communication and dissemination, making complex ideas accessible to non-specialist audiences without compromising accuracy. In addition, the programme covered critical issues such as academic freedom and strategies to counter scientific misinformation. Beyond the academic programme, participants had the opportunity to experience the historic city of Oviedo, a cultural jewel in northern Spain.
