What is ROI - Return on Investment?

Value is a crucial concept in Project Management. But there are different ways to calculate it. For my money, the most robust simple expression of value is Return on Investment, ROI. ATTENTION: There is an error in this video. It SHOULD say if ROI less than 0 it's a loss and if ROI greater than 0 it's a net benefit. ROI = 0 is breakeven. ROI = 1 is when gross benefit is exactly double the cost.
