It's the end of May, and we're still in the Bay of Otranto. The weather forecast for this region doesn't look promising, so we decide to leave immediately, even though we'll have to sail through the night. This turned out to be a very good decision. The day after our departure, the wind is blowing 55 knots where we just came from. Here in Greece, there's no sign of this, and we can enjoy a few peaceful days in the north of Corfu. When we arrive back in Corfu Town, there's a parade taking place. They're celebrating the annual festival of the unification of the Ionian Islands, which dates back to around 1800. Then, finally, the time has come. We sail further south and discover new places. Of course, this doesn't always go smoothly. Our fishing line gets tangled in our rudder, forcing me to dive under the boat in the middle of the sea to untangle everything. Once we arrived at the island of Paxos, we discovered there weren't many available anchorages, and we were forced to use our stern anchor again to avoid hitting the rocks during a nighttime wind shift. Ultimately, everything worked out well, and we were able to go ashore to visit the beautiful Agios. #travelvlog #sailing #greece find us; / sailingmissc / sailingmissc music by; www.bensound.com www.tunetank.com
