I had the incredible honour of showcasing my PlatiGleam paintings at a solo exhibition at Nepal Art Council in Kathmandu, which opened on 22nd March 2024. On 24th March, I also had the privilege of giving an artist's talk. But the journey didn’t end there—I’ve also created a new triptych that was unveiled during this show and was afterwards also featured in Nepal's most prestigious exhibition: Deities of Nepal II. I was deeply humbled to be the only non-Nepali artist exhibited there. What an absolute honour! At its core, art is a bridge—one that I fear is eroding as we grow increasingly isolated in our own thoughts and disconnected in our self-expression. Blame social media. This is the central theme of my PlatiGleam series: exploring how art can reconnect us to our shared humanity.
