😱 3 AWESOME Waterfalls - Upper, Middle, and Lower McCloud Falls. McCloud Falls is a must-see along the Volcanic Legacy Highway near McCloud, CA south of Mount Shasta. If we were to do this trip all over again we would start with Lower McCloud Falls (least impressive) to play in the water pockets, up to Middle McCloud Falls for a short hike down to the water for a swim, and finish at Upper McCloud Falls and have lunch at the perfect picnic spot by the McCloud River just a couple hundred feet from the mouth of the fall.
