[ 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙢 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚: 13/1/2026 ] Well.... A lot has changed since I was here last, not least of which is the lobby which they've done up very nicely! Fortunately, much like AIA Tower, the lifts seem to have remained untouched despite. Originally three OTIS lifts from 1985 (door tracks suggest Series 1, but Lexan is just as plausible), they were modernised by KONE sometime in the 2010's. Given we know this segmented LCD indicator was used right up until the turn of the decade when KDS 330 was taking over, I do wonder sometimes if I was perhaps just too late the first time to see these original, lol… In fact, I'd argue coming here post-mod was the right time, since these are so speedy! Not only do they have the signature fast KONE doors™ (trademark pending lol), but they are also incredibly fast in their own right! I didn't speedtest, but surely they must be running at 3.5 m/s? For just 11 floors! The 2nd-gen AU voice is present in these cars too. You'll notice the handicap button to the far-left of the lift lobby; it seems to only call the left-hand car, and I believe it also disables the Door Close button? But whether it actually puts the elevator into Priority Service like most KONE handicap buttons do is anyone's guess, since the damn LCD indicator is simply incapable of showing special messages like it should… It also doesn't slow down the fast KONE doors™ which is slightly surprising.
