The album was "conceived as a single seamless sea of sound."No Hassle includes no featured vocal tracks, and instead marks Tosca's return to vocal samples and the "use of the voice as an instrument" last heard on the 2000 album Suzuki. It looks incredible, but Kruder & Dorfmeister is practically no longer spoken about. Or rather it's just like any other dj or producer. Better so. There was a time when if you did not go to Vienna every Saturday night to spin on the refined rhythms of the "K & D Sessions" you were a poor man. After hangover (but then who is dancing chill-out?), Richard Dorfmeister finds old friend Rupert Huber with whom he signs the fifth chapter on behalf of Tosca. We are delighted to hear those cool ambient scenes that made famous recordings such as "Dehli 9" (2003) and above all "Suzuki" (2000), and we cruise in the soft soft-dub created by Dorfmeister ("Elitsa" ("Raymundo"), we close our eyes in the "Joe has got" narcotic moods and we wake up to the rhythms in four of Oysters in May. The overall harmony, the precise and smooth chassis of the arrangements and the sophistication of rhythmic partitions are the unchanging distinctive feature of the duo. Everything as usual, in short. Almost. The novelty lies in the new Tosca sound approach, definitely oriented towards constant search for analog melodies that reduce the rhythmic-digital component as a pure support element. In this sense, there are some "sings" ("Birthday", "My First"), the "Fondue" acoustic guitars, Mrs Bongo's meditative arpeggios and the ethnic percussion of the concluding "No Hassle". A shy signal of innovation, important to those who appreciate a genre (and especially a band) does not really use change and experimentation. Good for them, and good evening in Vienna. Unfortunately this will not prevent "No Hassle" (by the way, "No hurry", and it was understood) to start dusting in a corner of the room in a week or so. And probably forever. #Electronic #Downtempo #Ambient
