In this episode, we see Jeanne for the first time, meet back up with Ronin and also stumble upon a mysterious little girl running around in a church. We're standing on the cliff from last episode and a mysterious woman drops out of the sky on a motorcycle and starts eliminating angels. They talk for a while and then we get a cut scene of their past. After a bit, we then cut to the cutscene and are battling the mysterious woman. We then cut back to current time and the woman is gone... Navigating our way along the sides of buildings, we run into a new enemy, Dear and Decorations. We're able to take them out without much of a hassle. The moon then disappears and we return to the ground to kick open the door leading to the next area. There are some witch statues that allow us to slow down time, destroy a wall, and progress to a market-like area. In the next area, we meet Luca who's running from some guys but still manages to stop and talk to a pretty woman for a moment. Once he eludes his pursuers, he starts talking to Bayonetta even though he can't currently see her. Bayonetta toys with him for a bit before we see a cut scene from the past of a man being pulled apart. It looks like the person was Luca's father. Just then, more angels appear and we have to get back into action! Once the angels have been taken out, Luca leaves and we're left to pick up extra little items from the battlefield before moving on. In the next street, we have to evade a street car before being introduced to some Enchants. So we take them out and find a nearby portal leading to Alfheim. It's a challenge area where we have to defeat all of the angels with limited kicks and punches. We definitely struggle with this one for a bit but once we find a strategy that works, we were able to overcome the challenge. It takes us quite some time to complete the challenge but we're able to do it with the help of our guns. So once we're back, we finish getting all the goodies from the breakables. Making it to the next part of the level, we face some more Enchants and the same big bohemoth from before that escaped. He ends up calling in the calvary and now we have two behemoths to face. After defeating the first one, we finish off the second one with a dragon climax and we're given an EP. Luckily, we find a gate to hell nearby so we pay Ronin a visit and buy a few things to help with our health problem. He also takes the new LP and gets us a new sword. Once we're done with Ronin, we get our items set up the way we want and then and traverse on a golden road to the next area after defeating more angels. Eventually, we find a church and head inside to find a little girl running around. There's a short cutscene and then a huge dragon breaks into the church. Time for a boss battle! Once he's defeated, the level comes to an end.
