Here you find me targeting big specimen carp at long distance. The venue, Tom Makers second home Linear Fisheries on the popular Brasenose 1 (B1) water. Other famous anglers also go fishing here, people love Neil Spooner, Tom Dovey, Darrell Peck along with other guys at Korda fishing. I am sure Danny Fairbrass had also fished here on occasion. There's something magical about fishing long distance and having to cast as far as you can. Due to it being early spring coupled with a high pressure system, my mate and I focused on using Zig Rigs for most of our long session on the bank. Red foam fished mid depth seemed to be the winning tactic that landed us a few big carp. We also added red maggots to give it more of a natural attraction. At times I also put isotonic goo and pineapple goo over my foam too. Follow along on this fishing session where at times I thought it was yet another fish blank for me and Wez would he the king of the carp for this session at least.
